At first site Sean Nalewanyj’s site looks like so many others - filled with lean guys flexing their muscles all over the page! Especially, Sean, himself…

Oh, no! Yet another site for men - and young, fit men at that! Yet another muscle building site!

But right at the bottom of the page there is a link to links which leads eventually to a much more interesting site. One that caters to both men and women and is about FAT BURNING.

Now that’s more like it. And the sites are clearly targeting both overweight men and women as well as people of all ages.

This is quite a comprehensive program that Sean outlines on the site - with quite impressive reviews from experts and some pretty amazing “before” and “after” stories.

Watch this video for some insights (click the “guy” option). This is one case where a picture does speak volumes - check out the before and after for Mathew:-

and, if you want to see how Tosha turned out, jut follow this link and choose the “girls” link.

OK, this is a program that comes at a price. But, in the fitness/weight-loss arena, there really is no way to improve without some sort of program. The trick is to find the one one will work for each of us - and that means looking at what’s around and seeing whether others have been successful. There is a lot up for grabs in this program - with seperate programs designed for men and women.

Best thing is to go take a look at How To Burn Fat and see what you think!

Here is the important news that all overweight and especially obese people want to hear! Recent research has revealed that fatties can be more healthy than “normal” weight people! And that some fatties are actually fitter than the skinny runts:

Among US adults 20 years and older, 23.5% (approximately 16.3 million adults) of normal-weight adults were metabolically abnormal, whereas 51.3% (approximately 35.9 million adults) of overweight adults and 31.7% (approximately 19.5 million adults) of obese adults were metabolically healthy. (Source)

These researchers checked the weight against the “metabolic health” of more than representative 5,400 adults in the US - and concluded that there is a definite need for research that seriously looks at the belief that “overweight” necessarily means bad health and a quick ride to the mortuary. AND that fitness may be an important antidote.

And another study (of 2,600 plus 60 year olds over a 12 year period) found that:

the most striking finding was that fitness level, regardless of BMI, was the strongest predictor of mortality risk. Those with the lowest level of fitness, as measured on treadmill tests, were four times as likely to die during the 12-year study than those with the highest level of fitness. Read more here

Of course, these results are controversial and have provoked a storm of debate.

But honestly! As tough as dieting maybe, fitness is not exactly a pushover. The debate seems to gloss over this very obvious problem - how do fatties GET fit, in the first place? Just as well this blog is tackling that much more important issue!

Lets face it, we’re not all after fame and fortune - but we would like some of that bootylicous that Jennifer Nicole Lee has got herself the fitness program that she is now so famous for. In her words:

With my concentration in fitness, I am qualified to be your mentor and coach- being Ms. Bikini America, Ms. Bikini Universe and the first ever Ms. Muscle and Fitness- I can and will give you quality content and top trade secrets that you MUST know to achieve this coveted cover girl body! I know what it is like first hand to spend thousands of dollars and not get the results that I needed.

So she is definitely not backwards about coming forward. And that has paid off - because she has been on Oprah (see video below), has featured in numerous magazines, and has her own highly successful fitness program (Her site is full of interesting gossip and outlines her methods).
